I joined the Interacting Photons group at AMOLF as a Master’s student Experimental Physics from Utrecht University. My goal was to observe stochastic resonance in an optical microcavity at room temperature and develop a model to describe the results. After having received my Master’s degree, I continued as a PhD student. Driven by my interest in the dynamics of complex systems, I now focus on understanding the behaviour of (coupled) nonlinear optical resonators under the influence of noise, both in theory and experiment.
